Residential & Commercial Lettings - Rent Arrears

For Landlords the main problem which arises is tenants failing to pay rent on time. We are experienced in the recovery of the arrears of rent owed and will advise on all your options and undertake the necessary work from the service of a section 8 or section 21 notice to obtaining a possession order and warrant of possession. 

We appreciate that your rental income is of utmost importance and we will advise on the most time efficient method to recover possession of your property and the rent arrears to minimise your loss of income.  

For residential landlords we offer a fixed fee service of £495 plus vat and court costs for all applications for possession orders which are not contested by the tenants.

Managing Agents & Management Companies - Service Charge & Ground Rent Arrears

Whether you are a Management Company or Managing Agent we have an established procedure to recover both arrears of service charges and rent.

This service can be undertaken on a no recovery no fee basis subject to specific criteria applying:

  • It is a registered leasehold property
  • The property is subject to a mortgage
  • The lease includes a forfeiture clause and recovery of legal costs clause
  • The tenant does not have a genuine dispute about the service charge

We will review the lease to the property in question and discuss with you in full our application of the above criteria and the process of recovery from writing to tenants to obtaining a court order and full payment of the arrears owed.

The procedure we have established is designed to result in the efficient recovery of arrears at minimal expense to your company.


Business Debts

We have a team of experienced litigators who will assess the facts in question and advise you on the options available to recover money contractually owed to your business.
